A Special Visitor
We were fortunate to have a visit from Bo Kuszyk of Florigene last week. A resident of Australia, Bo promotes the unique MoonSeries carnations (available in shades from deep plum to pale lavender) developed by the genetic breeders at Florigene's labs.

Her passion for purple and championing of carnations earned her a title on our building sign.
To see some of the MoonSeries carnations used in arrangements, visit both Avante Gardens' blog and Bloomery's Image Gallery.

My daughter just got married & we had help from several family & friends. I wish we hadn't had to ask for help & had just been able to enjoy the wedding more.
I learned from my mistakes & now have a taste for the detail & organization of planning a wedding.
Can i get into the business of wedding consultant with some of your courses & can i make it work?
I would tell anyone to not do it all or even with a little help, it's just too much.
It becomes a mind boggling chore instead of a celebration.
Any advice about career move?

Memphis best Valentine florist is Sharp Flowers founded in 1934 by Nora Lillian Hall Coffin, now owned and operated by John Streeter her Grandson. We like to think we are part of Hurrican Cupid helping make magical and romantic events very special.
I was fortunate to be Phil's Production assistant in Hot Springs at the Arlington Hotel Arkansas Florist Association Convention in the late 1960's.
That opportunity helped motivate my ambitions in the Industry I Love so much. My favorite Roses are Rio Roses. You can find me Live in Downtown Memphis close to a Pyramid and a Bridge, not far from a freight Train.
